JOHN ASARO Presents BELLA DONNA: "BELLA DONNA" was John Asaro's one-man show held in March 2009 in Santa Monica, CA, benefiting the Art Center College of Design. A highly-successful painter of romantic genre scenes presented this huge one-man show celebrating the female nude: BELLA DONNA. His creative eye is now devoted to this time-honored tradition throughout art history--the nude. These paintings are set in brightly-colored backgrounds and have been called minimalist with a contemporary and edgy look.
